A year ago, I started rekindling my creative self, and Sierra Sol Design was born. I make unique and functional accessories for outdoor adventures, as well as lifestyle accessories like bags, wallets, purses, pouches, etc.

I’ve been making ends meet through selling my creations on Etsy, social media and locally, and have rediscovered the joy that being creative and artistic brings me. The feedback and response to my work has been incredibly positive, and I love knowing that I’m creating quality, unique, and meaningful products that bring people JOY!

I have been presented with opportunities for the business to grow into something bigger, by both selling my products wholesale, and participating in local markets.

So, I’m reaching out to the community in hopes of raising the funds needed to seize these opportunities, and make this happen in a short period of time.

I have outgrown my current home workspace, equipment, and what I can realistically do without hiring additional help.

My immediate needs for funding include purchasing 2 (used) industrial sewing machines, securing an office space for production, purchasing materials, paying booth fees on several upcoming local artisan market events, and hiring an employee.

I have all of these pieces of the puzzle lined up and ready, if I can get the funding together to make it happen.

With all of these pieces in place, I will be able to fulfill pending wholesale order requests, as well as ramp up production, and showcase my products at very popular and heavily trafficked artisan markets this fall and winter.

Anyone who knows me, knows that it is extremely difficult for me to ask for help, and this is the first time in my life I’ve done anything like a GoFundMe. But … I believe that Sierra Sol Design has the potential to grow into something really special, sustainable, and has the potential to create additional local jobs as it grows. I’m fully invested in following this passion, and putting in the hard work to make this a success.
