Hello, my name is Sierra, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support during an incredibly difficult time.

I recently relocated to Charleston, and shortly after the move, I noticed a lump on my dog Hazel Grace’s breast. After consulting with a veterinarian, I was told that it’s very likely to be breast cancer. In order to take the next steps—both for her diagnosis and to prevent further development of mammary tumors…Hazel Grace needs to be spayed as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, I am not in a financial position right now to cover these veterinary costs. I’ve explored all my options, applied for assistance, and budgeted every penny, but I simply can’t do this alone.

Hazel Grace is not just a dog. She’s been my best friend, my emotional anchor, and my biggest source of comfort since 2018. I moved out of my parents’ home at 17, completely on my own, but I had Hazel. She’s been with me through every high and low. There have been many moments where she truly saved my life. The bond I share with her is deep, and losing her is something I can’t imagine or emotionally prepare for.
