Help Me Get Back Home to Canada

Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d have to make a fundraiser like this, but I really need your help. I’m trying to raise **$2,000** to move back to Canada — a place where I can feel safe, supported, and have access to healthcare again.

With changes coming under the current U.S. administration, I’ve learned that I’ll be losing my health insurance next year. That news has hit me hard. On top of that, as someone who identifies as non-binary/gender-fluid, it’s becoming harder and harder to feel safe or hopeful here in the U.S. The uncertainty about my health and my safety has been weighing on me every day.

Canada has always been a place where I’ve felt like I could breathe — where I can live authentically and have access to the care I need. I’ve started applying for jobs in **Nova Scotia** and am doing everything I can to make this move possible on my own, but I can’t do it without some help.

The money raised will go toward **travel costs and a down payment on an apartment** when I arrive. Every little bit helps — whether it’s $5, $20, or even just sharing this page.
