Help Sierra Madre's Talented Softball Girls Reach Nationals!

Hello Softball Supporter,

This 4th of July weekend, our 10U, 12U, and 14U teams played in the “B” States Tournament in Lancaster, California, in triple-digit weather. Despite the challenging conditions, these young ladies showed incredible resilience, battling against teams across California.

The 10U Bombers, the 12U Legacy and the 14U Threats battled for supremacy and guess what. The Threats qualified for NATIONALS!!!

The 14U Threats now have an incredible opportunity ahead of them as they go to Everett, Washington to compete at Nationals, an entire week of softball. This is a momentous achievement that fills us with pride and excitement. This is a tremendous honor for one of our teams to now showcase their talent on a national stage.

In addition to the achievements at “B” States this past weekend, we also had a team succeed at “C” states only a few weekends prior going all the way to the final championship game.

12U Silver Hustle reached an unprecedented 2nd out of 40 teams at the C State Tournament and secured their spot at the Jr Olympic Tournament in San Diego July 19th to the 21st. They showed grit and heart and are ready to take that same energy to San Diego.

Participating in these prestigious events will allow our players to compete against some of the best teams in the country and provide them with valuable experiences that will contribute to their growth both on and off the field. However, to make this dream a reality, we need your help.

We aim to raise $15,000 to cover the costs of travel, accommodation, and meals for our teams. Especially the 14U team who needs to travel up to Washington. They will need to bring equipment, utilize ground transportation and operate out of Washington for an entire week.

Here are some examples of expenses for these teams:

Airfare and Rental Van in Washington: $4,000

Hotels in San Diego and Washington are around $120 to $250 a night totalling more than $10,000 per team

Meals around $1,000 per team
