Help Sierra Get Her Health Back

Hello, my name is Brian and I have been traveling the American Southwest with my furry adventure partner, Sierra, in our 4x4 truck since the summer of 2015. We met 6 months prior to our lifelong journey in a rescue shelter. Sierra was frightened and malnourished but as sweet as could be. Here is a picture of what she looked like after the adoption was completed and she was at my residence in Curtis Park (Denver)...

We immediately started hitting area hiking trails, Sierra LOVES being out in nature running around. This is when she really started to flourish. In the summer of 2015, we hit the open road for a life of adventure. Me and Sierra moved into my tiny Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Truck and began to crush hiking trails across the American Southwest...

Sierra is now 8 years old and was diagnosed with on Tuesday afternoon with cancer. She has a large racketball sized tumor in one of her anal glands, tumors in her lymph nodes, and two spots on her lungs. The doctors have advised me she will have her pain greatly diminished with the remove of these tumors so we are in the process of getting our surgery details completed.

I will do anything for this special girl, she literally saved my life from being a bitter person so now is my chance to try to return the favor. For the immediate future we will be traveling back and forth to Denver for consultations with our oncology team. While in the Denver area we will be operating out of the Golden...if you see us around town and want to give Sierra some well wishes then I'm sure she'd love the attention.

While up in the mountains, my schedule will be 100% dictated by how Sierra is feeling. If she's up for a hike then we'll be hitting trails. If she wants to nap all day, then I'm perfectly fine with that too. It's whatever she feels like doing...my goal is to have her life be 100% stress free so she can rest and heal. I've already begun giving her CBD oil to which she has responded well. I look forward to her having the surgery soon so she can get some relief from these tumors.

Thank you to everyone offering their support during this extremely challenging time. It is VERY heartwarming to see the outpouring of support for Sierra. I hope you all get a chance to meet her someday, she's such a special companion who has captured the hearts of many. I love her very much and hope she responds well to treatment.
