Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story. In July 2024, Sierra's mom, Cheryl, was on her way to work in the family’s wheelchair-accessible van when a hit-and-run accident involving a tractor-trailer on West 528 left the van totaled. Cheryl sustained severe injuries, putting her at risk of paralysis—or worse.
Since then, Sierra has been unable to attend the vital doctor appointments that are crucial to her health and her ability to live the fullest life possible. Cheryl is now unable to work due to her injuries, leaving Sierra's dad as her sole caregiver. With the high cost of wheelchair-accessible vans, our family has no other options and is turning to the kindness of others for help.
Sierra has been homebound since the accident, and we want nothing more than to give her back the mobility and quality of life she deserves. Any support you can provide would mean the world to our family.
