Hi Friends & Family, last month my sister Sierra, went in to have a nodule on her neck checked with her endocrinologist. Five biopsies were done, and we were very shocked to find out that at just 30years old, she was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. Further genetic testing has revealed that it is a more aggressive type of cancer, and she will be undergoing a full thyroidectomy at the end of July.

Yesterday, Sierra & Keo discovered their health insurance had been retroactively canceled. This was done without warning, and caused by a clerical error on the insurance company's part. The company will not be fixing this error, and now Sierra is left to cover the cost of surgery, on top of all of testing she has undergone in the last month.
