We are a non-profit youth climbing team focused on training climbers using a holistic approach. We instill a lifelong love of climbing and a responsibility to the climbing community both within and beyond competition.
We are a small community organization that has been coaching youth in the Reno/Tahoe area to grow and learn through climbing since 2012. As a 501c3 non-profit organization, we are not affiliated with or funded by any gym or other institution. All of our funding is self-generated and used to directly cover team expenses, including scholarships.
Unfortunately, we have been hit with hard times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Gym closures caused us to suspend our programming and have put a major halt on our revenue stream. In order to function, we need to pay for insurance, worker's comp, business licensure, and other business expenses. Fall is when we have to pay for most of our annual fees and licenses. Our coaches and team manager have already been volunteering their time to help reduce costs. This season we need your help to cover our expenses, which add up to $2000. Any contributions that exceed $2000 will go directly towards future team expenses and scholarships.
In conjunction with this fundraiser, we are being considered for GoFundMe's Small Business Relief Initiative to amplify the effects of your generous donation. GoFundMe and other companies will match donations up to $500 for small businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19. #SmallBusinessRelief
