I recently graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and I am excited to begin my journey as a first-year teacher in East Peoria, IL. As I prepare to welcome my very first class of first graders, I want to create a classroom environment that is both supportive and inspiring for my students.

Starting out as a new teacher comes with many challenges, especially when it comes to providing all the essentials that help students learn and grow. I am hoping to build a classroom library filled with books, gather manipulatives for hands-on learning, and add educational posters and other resources that will make our classroom a welcoming and engaging space. These materials will not only enhance our daily lessons but also help my students feel comfortable and excited to learn every day.
