Hi, my name is Sieeda, and I’m a 28-year-old single mom to two beautiful children, ages 3 and 8.

On Wednesday, May 21st, I was the victim of a horrific car accident caused by a drunk driver. As I waited at a red light, my car was hit at full speed, causing a devastating chain reaction involving three other vehicles. I had just dropped off my children 10 minutes before the crash — something I thank God for every day.

The impact left me with multiple injuries: facial trauma from the airbag, as well as damage to my neck, shoulder, back, legs, and hand. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance and admitted for two days. My car was totaled, and I’m unable to work due to my injuries.

As a single mother with no support system, this accident has turned our lives upside down. I’m now faced with the challenge of covering medical bills, rent, basic needs, and finding a way to get around — all while focusing on recovery and caring for my kids.
