It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden passing of beloved Sidney Simmons, only 27 years old, a beautiful soul taken from the earth far too soon. Sidney was a loving daughter, a devoted fiancée, and above all, she was a proud mother to her four precious children.
Sidney’s passing has left their family devastated and facing expenses they never imagined they would have to bear so soon. We are raising funds to help cover the cost of her funeral and to provide support for her children as they face life without their mother’s love and guidance.
Sidney was full of laughter, kindness, and light. She touched every life she encountered, and her absence will be felt deeply forever.
No amount is too small. Every donation, every share, every prayer means the world to us during this unimaginable time.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us give Sidney the farewell she deserves and ensuring her children have the love and care they need moving forward.
Where Funds Will Go:
• Funeral & memorial expenses
• Immediate needs for her four children
• Support for their care in the coming months
Please keep Sidney’s memory alive by sharing this page and keeping her children in your prayers.
Forever loved, never forgotten.
No one should lose their life while in the custody. When a person is incarcerated, it is the jail’s legal and moral responsibility to ensure their safety and provide necessary medical care. Sidney was deprived of that basic right. Her death is not just a personal tragedy; it is a systemic failure.
Dying behind bars without proper protection or intervention is unacceptable. Sidney was a human being who deserved dignity, compassion, and a chance to live. Her passing is a stark reminder of how often those in custody are forgotten, neglected, or treated as if their lives do not matter.
By contributing, you’re not only helping her family navigate unimaginable grief, but you are standing against a broken system and saying that every life, including the lives of those incarcerated, matters.
