Hi! I am starting a fundraiser on behalf of wonderful magic man Sid Simpatico.

Sid recently underwent major brain surgery for aqueduct stenosis, a rare condition discovered when he was 10 years old. Since then, his life has been dependent on a ventricalo peritoneal shunt that runs through his brain, down his neck, over the ribcage and in to the abdominal cavity.

That shunt malfunctioned and Sid had to to have the entire apparatus replaced and moved to the other side of his body.

His recovery in a rehab facility in Berlin will be long and hard (2 months)..he needs our support!

On the positive side...his worldview remains ever bright and shiny. There is no cognitive damage and he can expect a FULL recover to his usual amazing self with a little help from us all.

This kind, funny, deep, metaphysical vehicle of a human spirit is one of a kind.
