Abayomi is a sickle cell warrior who is passionate about telling authentic patient stories through digital content. His journey with a debilitating chronic illness like sickle cell has been a challenging one but he continues to thrive as a content creator and social media consultant. In 2016, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Avascular Necrosis (AVN), which is caused by the temporary or permanent loss of blood supply to the bone.
