My brother and I both struggle to ask for help, so this is difficult. I am currently a licensed massage therapist and my brother has a steady career. About a week ago on 5/6, we woke up to the house on fire, starting in the basement, which includes my bedroom, office space, and writing desk. While we got out safely, our cat Luna sadly passed two days later. Her loss has hit us hard, because we cannot put a price tag on the love and support our animals give us. As soon as we could, we took her to the vet to attempt to save her life. The firefighters found her in the rafters of my room, as she'd been trapped.

We are asking for financial support due to the loss of income, the vet bills we accrued due to the fire, and the bills we still have to keep up with (including our mortgage) and for support as we seek temporary housing elsewhere, which for us, lengthens our commutes.
