Help Shywan Crush Cancer

After facing the struggles of getting pregnant, Shywan and Chase found out about their little miracle baby at the end of 2015. On June 1, 2016, they welcomed a blue eyed, blonde haired girl named Laney. The little family spent quite some time in the hospital due to Laney being premature. Eventually, their daughter grew stronger and the family of 3 were finally able to go home. Life continued, change was constant, sleep was rare, but their hearts were full and they proved to be wonderful parents.

On Friday, May 12, 2017, after having an elective surgery done for what was thought to have been endometriosis, Shywan was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Shywan will go in for a very invasive surgery on Monday, May 22nd, and shortly after, will begin chemotherapy. During this time, Shywan will have to put her career as a nurse on hold and her husband, Chase, will be the family's sole provider.

Shywan is one of the most compassionate people I know - she has a heart of gold and loves her family dearly. The expenses have already been racking up and although insurance will help, the cost of treatment along with day-to-day life will still be incredibly overwhelming. This page has been created in an effort to alleviate a bit of the weight Shywan and her family have on their shoulders. All donations received will go directly towards helping them during this difficult time.
