Help Shylo Hoover Recover from Acute Kidney Injury

Shylo Hoover is the true definition of man's best friend, or in this case, woman's best friend. We have been blessed to welcome such a good boy into our family.

Unfortunately, Shylo has unexpectedly suffered an Acute Kidney Injury. We are unsure what the outcome will be but are all trying to stay positive. His creatinine and BUN levels are both elevated, along with an expected GI bleed.

He is currently a patient at the Partner Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Clinic in Frederick, Maryland. He’s receiving round the clock care and treatment (IV’s, catheter, bloodwork, meds). The Hoover family feels complete with him and we are all missing him terribly these last couple days while he receives treatment.

We don’t want to give up on Shylo and want to do anything we can to increase his chance of getting through this. We are all taking it day by day with the hopes of bringing our baby home healthy.
