Help Shyla through her recovery
Donation protected
Lisa and myself Jaysun are owners of a 12-year-old wonderful dog named Shyla. We are regulars at Ninigret dog park in Charlestown RI.
During the past few weeks we were notified that a sick person has been poisoning animals using tainted meat in the park and surrounding areas of the dog park. During those same weeks our dog Shyla had been digging vigorously and eating dirt out of one location inside of the dog park. These actions are not normal for her and we tried to put a stop to it every time we saw it happening.
Over the last 2 weeks her health has severely deteriorated to the point where we admitted her to the ER. Our ER bill has already exceeded $4,000. Shyla is still in the facility and not doing well. Our veterinarian stated that her condition was directly related to ingesting bacteria from her surrounding environment.
Shyla has a chance at full recovery but the cost of the treatments are astronomical. I ask as an animal lover that you keep us in your prayers and/or donate to help bring our baby home. We are working with the Charlestown Police to identify the sick person doing this to our animals.
GoFundMe is our last resort to bring home a good dog who was in relatively good health before this incident.
We are also working through other resources to get the message out to all other dog owners in the area.
I thank you for your time reading this post and as I said before please keep us and Shyla in your prayers.
Thank you so much for the read and for anything you may be able to do to help.
Sincerely,
Jaysun, Lisa and Shyla
