Help Shyanne with Emergency Surgery Costs for Her Boy Gatsby

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for support on behalf of my best friend, Shyanne, and her beloved dog Gatsby—a sweet, sprightly Italian Greyhound who has been by her side for the last ten years, ever since her sophomore year of college. Named after The Great Gatsby, he’s been her constant companion through all of life’s ups and downs.

If you know Shyanne, you know she’s the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back without hesitation. She’s generous, incredibly hardworking, and a true light in everyone’s life. She works three jobs, rarely takes time for herself, and yet somehow always finds the energy to care for others with love, grace, and a big heart.

Recently, while Shyanne was on a much-needed and well-deserved vacation, Gatsby had a terrible accident—he tried to jump a gate and ended up breaking his foot. He was rushed into emergency surgery, which thankfully went well, and he is now recovering at home surrounded by love and care.

But as you can imagine, the unexpected surgery came with a heavy cost—$6,000—a devastating financial blow for someone who works so hard, gives so much, and asks for so little.

Shyanne would never dream of asking for help—right now, all her energy is focused on caring for Gatsby and helping him recover. That’s why I’m taking the lead and creating this GoFundMe on her behalf.
