I've decided to make a gofundme to see if I can get some help with getting a custom wheelchair that I can't get covered through insurance. I do have a very heavy and clunky manual wheelchair that I did receive through insurance but it offers me no independence since it is WAY TOO HEAVY for me to push myself around in, causing intense fatigue flare ups. I have several chronic disabilities (IIH, POTS, Fibromyalgia, Occipital Neuralgia, etc.) that make it very hard for me to find a job I can handle. My disabilities also unfortunately make my schedule very unreliable, so I have no form of income and I don't see myself having one until I can get approved for disability benefits. If anyone would be able to help me with a donation, it doesn't matter how much, it all counts right now, I would be so so thankful. Every donation will go towards me regaining my freedom and independence by helping me save and afford to get a custom wheelchair through the company NotAWheelchair. The wheelchair is roughly $1000 but I'm not sure if there will be shipping costs, so I've set my goal slightly higher than the chair itself. Genuinely any donation helps so much.
