Hello! We are reaching out on behalf of Shy, a dear friend who is currently facing a challenging situation.
Shy has been enduring a series of setbacks over the past few months and is in need of support. Currently residing in Massachusetts, they find themselves without a support system in a time of need. To add to their difficulties, Shy recently underwent major surgery in March and continues to require medical attention, and further biopsies for potential cervical cancer.
In an effort to make ends meet, Shy has been forced to part with cherished possessions, including a majority of their lifelong belongings. Despite their best efforts, the financial strain remains overwhelming. Shy has even taken on a second job, which has become a significant mental strain, leaving them with no capacity to enjoy any form of time off for a mental break.
We are seeking assistance to help Shy navigate through this difficult time. Funds will go towards essential expenses, including month-to-month storage for the few sentimental items they have left until they can secure housing, outstanding medical bills from their recent surgery, and the cost of shipping items 3,000 miles back home. Additionally, as Shy is being left without a car, funds may also go towards purchasing a vehicle so they can drive back home, or for a plane ticket back to California.
