Hi everyone… I’m reaching out asking for help — Shuntral.
For the past Few months, my world has been turned upside down. What I thought would be a simple hospital visit turned into a long, painful fight for my life. I had a severe fluid overload around my heart and lungs, and doctors had to act fast. But during the procedure to remove the fluid, something went terribly wrong.
A vein was accidentally hit. Blood rushed into and around my lungs. It was hard for me to breathe. I was like fish out of water. In that moment, everything changed — alarms went off, doctors rushed in, and my family stood there helpless, praying I would hold on. They had to sedate me for 2 weeks , intubate me , and eventually give him a trachea so I could breathe.
We watched the strongest man we know lie completely still, unable to speak, unable to respond… and we could do nothing but pray.
After weeks of fear, he finally woke up mentally a week ago. But instead of relief, it brought a new kind of heartbreak. He doesn’t remember what happened. He doesn’t remember coming to the hospital. He doesn’t know why he’s hooked up to machines. He looks at us confused, scared, trying to understand how his life changed without him even knowing.
It breaks us every single day.
To watch him try to piece things together.
To see him frustrated when his body doesn’t do what it used to.
To see him fight, even through the pain, because he wants to come home.
Through all of this, we’ve stayed by his side — talking to him, comforting him, praying over him. But the reality is that this journey has put a huge financial strain on our family. Medical bills, missed work, travel, basic needs… everything has piled up faster than we can keep up with.
We are asking for help because we cannot do this alone.
We want to focus on helping him heal — not drowning in stress and bills.
If you can donate, we are forever grateful.
If you can share, we appreciate you more than you know.
And if all you can do is pray, please lift Shuntral up. We believe prayer has kept him here with us.
Thank you to everyone who has checked on us, prayed for us, and held us together during this storm. Your love means more than words can express.
Please continue praying for Shuntral’s healing, strength, and full recovery. He has a long road ahead, but he’s still fighting and so are we
