Hi friends! We’re Matt Guthrie and Tim Fleischer—co-hosts, horticulture nerds, educators, and the founders of Shrubby Buddies, a community-focused platform dedicated to making plant care, landscaping knowledge, and environmental awareness accessible, fun, and friendly.

We started Shrubby Buddies Podcast because we believe learning about plants shouldn’t feel intimidating or boring. What This Funding Will Help Us Accomplish

Launch a quality YouTube channel with accessible, educational plant content

Improve podcast production with clearer audio and better presentation

Build Shrubby Buddies merchandise and supporter perks

Expand educational offerings such as short “Hort Shorts,” community talks, and educational outreach

Offer accessible consultations and backyard landscaping guidance for listeners, families, and organizations
