Carrol “Shredder” Scales took her own life on 8/30/25. She leaves behind her mother, Ashley Mazzanti, her sister, Lily Burton (15). Shredder would have turned (17) on September 29, 2025. She is a beautifully vibrant, brilliant soul whose loss has devastated her friends, family, and work community at Raven & Lily in Collierville, TN. Shredder is a talented artist who enjoyed gaming, watching House and Stranger Things (Team Nancy), and providing random (but always true) facts with her leading catch phrase: “well, ACTUALLY”. She was the most animated, enthusiastic person you’ve ever seen working a dish pit. While we know this will never make life the same for any of her family, any type of donation towards the family in this troubling time of picking up the pieces that have been shattered into recent days, anything helps. This is not only a difficult time for the family, but if you or any of your loved ones are possibly being affected by a similar circumstance or just needing someone there, please be there. And please reach out to any resources for whatever you may need in your or your loved one’s journey in life. Life is precious and Shredder was adored by all.
