On the evening of Monday, January 22nd, Tracy Hnatkovich was out walking her dog when she was struck by a vehicle who fled the scene, leaving her for dead on a cold, dark road in Hastings. She was air lifted to Pittsburgh and is currently fighting for her life in the ICU. She sustained serious injuries and she is in a medically induced coma. Although she is starting to show small signs of improvement, she has a very long and tough road to recovery. She will need surgery and will likely be in the hospital for quite some time.
