Help Show Off Dance Rebuild

For the first time in our 14 years of serving the Los Angeles dance community, we are humbly asking for your help…

Earlier this spring, our studio suffered a burglary that resulted in the loss of nearly a decade’s worth of acquired supplies and equipment. After filing a police report for a growing trespassing concern (due to homelessness), we discovered weeks later that our outdoor storage unit had been broken into. We filed a second report for the burglary, and are currently awaiting the results of an insurance claim. Unfortunately, our policy only covers partial amount and only applies to select items— which includes replacing our outdoor storage unit to protect our supplies in the future.

What was taken includes our entire merchandise store, all of our awards and medals, most of our summer camp and party supplies, sound equipment, lighting, games, crafts, and portable electronics we use for teaching and community events. Many of these items were accumulated over years of hard work, tight budgets, and a whole lot of love and commitment to what we do.

Despite the frustration, we’re pushing forward because summer camps are around the corner—and we refuse to let this stop us from Showing Up for our kids.

Your donation will directly support our ability to run joyful, meaningful programs for youth in our community. Every dollar helps us rebuild what was taken, and continue pouring into the next generation through dance, creativity, and connection.
