Help Show Ana Some Love
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
We have an opportunity to help someone who has made our lives much nicer for many years. I haven't had a regular housecleaner since my husband stopped working, but Ana Garay helped us out for a long time. She worked with her sisters and I loved what they did so much that I posted a piece about her on my blog. Here is the link: https://pearlsandlemons.blogspot.com/2011/10/ana-and-her-sisters.html
Now Ana needs our help. After months of pain and many trips to the Marin Community Clinic and several stays in the hospital Ana has been diagnosed with liver cancer. She spent the month of January at CPMC in San Francisco where she had ablation surgery. She developed pneumonia and had several blood clots which required a filter to be installed. The filter removal will require another surgery and Ana needs a liver transplant.

This fundraising effort doesn't address the medical costs
Ana lacks health insurance and the bills are astronomical. What I'm hoping you can do is help compensate for the fact that Ana can't work and contribute to the family income like she has for so long. As Ana said to me: "Any amount will help."
Ana, her husband Gumaro and their son, Oscar would be most appreciative and so would I.
Thank you.
