our world, shonna had to have emergency surgery Sunday because she had a blood clot in the wall of her intestine and they had to remove some if it She did good during surgery but her platelets are low. She has a blood clot in her aortic artery and another artery coming off her heart. So they are having to give her a blood thinner to try to dissolve the clots to avoid a stroke but since her platelets are low that increases her risk of bleeding. Also because of the chemo and radiation ( she has been battling stage 4 lung cancer) she has had she is having trouble with healing after surgery so they are worried about the surgery she just had and the risk of her intestines leaking causing her to become septic. She cannot handle any more surgeries. Shonna and the family have chosen for her to be placed on hospice. Please be in prayer for everyone as there is no definitive time frame. Thank you all for your concern. She wants to be as close to her sister as possible, so raising this money would go to getting her across state lines to Lamesa so we can give her that wish! Anything is greatly appreciated, and if you cant please say a huge prayer for us as we go thru this horrible time!! Shonna touched every single soul she met, she is an amazing woman! She was an awesome mom, sister, and an amazing wife!!, but being Nonna was her favorite title!!
