Hey guys, it's Shonda. I was so hesitant to make this because no one wants to have to ask for help. My health has taken a pretty serious turn. My liver levels are at their maximum levels and I am still waiting on good ol American insurance to approve my medicine! Without insurance it is 15k/ month and I need 2-3 months worth plus the additional scanning and tests in between. All of these bills on top of little Sawyer having a bladder stone return, it is emptying my savings pretty quickly.

what's next:

I am being sent for an in depth cirrhosis scan on October 14 to see how much of my liver is damaged, that will be sent to insurance for another review to see if they will approve my medicine.

If I can get the cash funds, I won't need to wait for insurance to approve the medicine but I will need to still get the scan to see how much of the medicine I need ( and pray I don't need surgery or a new liver-I cannot handle that)

Throughout all of this I am deeply afraid I will end up in the hospital with no one (safe & reliable) to take care of Sawyer, if you know any animal caretakers/ sitters who could treat Sawyer like a spoiled baby please let me know, I need to know he will be ok regardless of my outcome.
