Help Shon Get a Wheelchair Accessible Van
Donation protected
Hello my name name is Nikki. I’m the aunt of D’Shon Bell. On October 22nd 2021, D’Shon at 30 years of age had a massive stroke that left him in ICU for a month. Doctors were unsure that he would survive the stroke. One day after the stroke his brain begin to swell forcing doctors to have to remove the right side of his skull as a life saving measure. Here we are today, after several surgeries, D’Shon is home. He has made great strides to get back to the singing, dancing, drum playing we all love and adore; however, do to the severity of the stroke, it’s going to be a long road to recovery. D’Shon is currently paralyzed on the entire left side. Our family has been able to purchase a bed and the immediate items needed to provide care for D’Shon. We are asking for help in purchasing a wheelchair accessible van so that D’Shon is able to enjoy the freedom of going to family functions, visiting his children and getting back to some form of normalcy. We appreciate whatever you’re able to give, even if it’s prayers and resources. Please continue to keep D’Shon, his Mother, his children and our family in your prayers. Thank You
