My name is Shneqa, me and my family recently lost everything in a devastating apartment fire that destroyed our home and belongings that started from another apartment spread to ours We were left with nothing. We lost furniture, beds, clothes, shoes, personal items, household essentials, and the sense of safety that comes with having a home. I’m a hardworking mother trying to rebuild and provide stability for my child while also working to better our future. This tragedy has put us in an unexpected financial hardship as we now need help with temporary housing, replacing necessities, and starting over from scratch.

The fire happened so suddenly, and we came home and our whole apartment building burn it started from another apartment then spread to ours 4 apartment lost homes . Since then, we have been staying in hotels and now will be with friends and family, but it’s been difficult to find stability and comfort. My child is struggling to adjust to the new reality, and I am doing everything I can to keep our spirits up and provide hope for a brighter future. We are in urgent need of support to cover the costs of temporary housing, basic essentials like clothing and food, and to begin the process of rebuilding our lives from the ground up.
