Last week we found a mass on my dog Shmella's back that has cancerous cells. The type of mass is called a Mastocytoma.
After extensive blood work, chest x-rays and an abdominal ultrasound, it doesn't seem like the cancer has spread to her other organs - thankfully!! Given where it is located, the veterinarians believe that once the mass is removed with good margins, she should be able to do a full recovery. I am starting this gofundme page to raise money to cover tests and surgery costs as well as post-op care ❤
Shmella is a strong girl and has a lot of life left in her to live, we want her to keep thriving and have the best quality of life she can have!
