Help Shivam Heal After a Life-Changing Trucking Accident

Hi, my name is Saloni, and I’m fundraising for my younger brother, Shivjot, who recently survived a devastating multi-semi truck accident while on duty as a long-haul truck driver. On March 16th, his life changed forever.

The collision caused critical Spinal injuries, and multiple other trauma points. As of today, he is still hospitalized at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, with no movement in his legs and a long road ahead—uncertain but hopeful.

Life has shifted overnight—from career and independence to surgeries, rehab, and learning how to adapt to a completely new way of living.

We’re staying hopeful, but the road forward is filled with unexpected costs—things that aren’t fully covered by insurance or government support. From accessible housing, to transportation, daily care, legal requirements and adapting our home for recovery—every bit adds up quickly.
