Help Shiva Heal Through her Cancer Journey

Hello friends, family and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Hailey and I’m reaching out on behalf of my friend Shiva who has been courageously battling cancer since 2022. Over the past few years, she has been navigating what most of us cannot even imagine. It has been a relentless journey through cancer that continues to challenge her body, mind and spirit. Shiva, unable to work over the last 3 years has financially supported herself and supportive therapies but is now struggling to afford the therapies that have been helping her along the way. Shiva would also like to explore new therapies but does not have the means to do so. Please read below for Shiva’s story:

My Story

“In July 2022, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 HER2-positive breast cancer. This was a moment that forever changed my life and what followed was an aggressive treatment plan including:

• 6 rounds of chemotherapy

• 20 sessions of radiation

• Surgery including a lumpectomy and lymph node removal

• Additional tissue sampling to assess further spread

Just as I was trying to rebuild my life after breast cancer treatment, another life-altering moment came. In July 2023, a brain tumor was discovered in my right temporal lobe. It was found only because my sister happened to notice a small bump on my head. This was a moment I can only describe as divine intervention. This small bump was the result of a tumor that had likely spread from the breast cancer.

After months of consultations and follow-ups, I underwent a craniotomy in February 2024 to remove the tumor. Unfortunately, the battle didn’t stop there and from mid-2024 into 2025, my regular brain scans began showing more tumors. Each scan revealed new growths…the cancer was spreading. Despite earlier localized radiation, the most recent scan in June/July 2025 revealed nine brain tumors, prompting me to undergo full-brain radiation in an effort to stop their progression.

Why I'm Asking for Help

Fighting cancer has been an all-consuming battle. This has been a physical, emotional and financial burden weighing on my shoulders. While conventional treatments have been necessary, they have also taken a massive toll on my overall health and well-being.

Now, more than ever, I need access to integrative wellness therapies that focus on restoring my body, supporting my immune system and providing comfort and strength as I continue fighting.”
