Nei passaggi della vita ci troviamo talvolta a dover chiedere aiuto agli amici, le persone care e vicine con cui abbiamo condiviso i momenti della nostra esperienza umana.
Soprattutto succede a chi ha sempre donato, spesso non curando il proprio interesse personale ed anteponendo il servizio disinteressato verso il prossimo, l'amico, la persona più povera e bisognosa.
Shiva Das ha da qualche tempo ricevuto una diagnosi di cancro al polmone con metatasi al fegato. E' ora ricoverato per un primo ciclo di chemioterapia seguita possibilmente da radioterapia.
Shiva Das non può auto sostenersi per le necessità di base e le spese della vita e dopo la chemio affronterà momenti in cui dovrà dedicare le proprie energie fisiche e mentali esclusivamente al processo di guarigione.
Per Shiva Das questo è il momento di essere sollevato, sentire l'affetto degli amici e ricevere il sostegno di chi lo ama.
Se potete donare, anche poco, chi più e chi meno, secondo le personali disponibilità del momento, unendo le forze possiamo fare una differenza e far sentire al nostro caro amico che siamo vicini a lui con il cuore oltre che con l'aiuto pratico.
Vi terremo informati dei progressi e da subito vi ringraziamo anche da parte di Shiva Das che inizialmente quasi non voleva facessimo questa raccolta e che poi abbandonandosi ci ha detto: "Sarebbe un miracolo per me"

Shiva Das has now been diagnosed with lung cancer and metastase to the liver. He is now hospitalized for a first course of chemotherapy followed, if possible, by radiotherapy.
Shiva Das cannot self sustain himself for the basic necessities and expenses of life and after chemo there will be times during which he will have to dedicate all his physical and mental energies exclusively to the healing process.
This is the time for Shiva Das to be relieved, to feel the affection and care of his friends and to receive the support of those who love him.
