My name is Shishonia, and I never imagined I would be in this position. One day, I noticed I couldn't close my eye properly, so I went to urgent care. They immediately sent me to the E.R., where I learned that the entire left side of my face was paralyzed. Since then, my sight has changed, talking has become difficult, and daily life has been a struggle. The pain and uncertainty have been overwhelming, and it's been hard to adjust to these sudden changes.

My doctor recommended that I start therapy and acupuncture to help with my recovery, but unfortunately, I can't afford these treatments. Being out of work has made things even harder, and I'm falling behind on my bills and rent. Every day is a challenge, but I am determined to get better and regain my independence. I know that with the right support, I can make progress and start to heal.
