My grandma, Shirley Telep, a retired RCMP and a mother of 4; has been recently been diagnosed with cancer in her lungs and a tumour in her back.  She is currently in Vancouver starting radiation and chemo treatments and is expecting to be there for a long period of time. We are unsure of the exact status of the cancer and the treatment that will be needed at this time. However we do know that her situation is very severe  and life threating (I will update the status when I have more information.)
Shirley is a well known lady and always puts others first and now its time she needs our help.  For those of you that know her she is always going out of her way to help others when they are in need. We are trying to raise money so my grandma doesn't have to go through this alone. We would like to use the money to help with additional cost so her friends and her family can be there to support her. She doesn't have any family or friends in Vancouver so it would mean so much if we can show her love and support by raising money to ease the stress of this horrible situation.
I really hope that our family and friends can come together to support each other and Shirley during this.  Whether it is financially or emotionally every little bit of support will mean so much to all of us.
