Help Shirley get well again.

Hello. My name is Shirley and I desperately need help with money for medical expenses, cab fare, moving, storage and other random things. I recently shattered my ankle in two places and have to move my belongings quickly, before I convalesce from surgery in a home. I have no one to help me with daily activities, which are very difficult and painful. This happened on top of dealing wit peripheral neuropathy in my legs, other neurologic issues, muscle weakness, fibromyalgia, connective tissue disease and other challenges. My neurologist and rheumatologist are both still vascilating between a diagnosis of MS or lupus.  Then I shattered my ankle ...

The long story:

I have been working through several debilitating illnesses, including neurological issues, fibromyalgia, connective tissue disease, balance issues, and others. My life got much worse after I got very sick with a tick-borne disease, like Lyme disease, called Ehrlichiosis .

I ended up on disability but was too weak to continue working when that ran out. I went on unemployment and was still in no shape to work when that ran out, so I pulled out what little savings I had, packed up my apartment and moved back to Buffalo from NJ. I've been renting a room and have been asked to leave (UPDATE: I left and am in good hands, but have a long way to go and I would like to contribute to the person who was kind enough to take me in). After I started packing, I left for a neurologist appointment and overshot a high step as I left and shattered my left ankle in two places. It's very painful and I need surgery.

My doctor wants me to convalesce in a nursing home/physical rehab. Ultimately, I need to find long term housing, but I can't worry about that until after surgery and while I am convalescing. I want to thank everyone who has helped me get this far! Everything was feeling insurmountable but I'm getting through it with your help!
