As a student who plays soccer, collecting, organizing, and shipping gear to Zambia has been so rewarding for me and my family. Since 2017, we have donated 20,000 items! We love packing gear each July and then six months later, we receive pictures of all the gear that has arrived, and it is awesome seeing how happy the kids are and the huge impact of the gear.

Gear goes towards programs that advance UN Sustainable Development Goals: health and well-being, quality education, and gender equality. These programs work to lift up adolescents and kids facing extreme inequities. Getting kids playing soccer increases their chance of getting an education. And getting an education increases their options for future employment. This also reduces the chances their own kids will face health and education challenges themselves!
