This is Olivier McPhee affectionately known as Shine and his beloved mom Rose.

The island of Exuma in the Bahamas is not just a beautiful island, but it's also full of beautiful people. One such person is Rosemae Williams, from the settlement of Harts, Exuma, who is seeking your help in raising funds for radiation and oncology treatment. In June 2024, Rosemae, aka Rose, started feeling lower abdominal and back pain along with bloody stools. She immediately went to the clinic in Exuma, who then referred her to be seen immediately by the specialist in Nassau. She subsequently had to have surgery in September 2024 to remove a mass from her rectosigmoid region. Now the oncologists are recommending she start chemotherapy and radiation treatment. So far, her family has been able to assist; however, the surgery was quite costly, and funds are low. Cancer treatment and surgeries are extremely expensive without medical insurance coverage, which unfortunately Rose does not have.
