Help Shin Overcome His Medical Emergency

My cat, Shin, 3 years 10 months old has been suffering from urinary problems, the other night I found him frozen in place in the living room, clearly distressed, struggling to pee. I tried moving him to his box, touching him anywhere near his belly caused him intense pain, he sat there for a while struggling to go, but couldn't. This continued throughout the night, the next morning I woke up to a bloodcurdling scream of pain from him, I was already planning to call the vet in the morning as soon as they were open but this was increasingly becoming an emergency. When I did get in contact with the vet, they were unable to get him an appointment, but they advised that he go to the emergency vet, since it this was a serious life threatening issue. His urethra was blocked by crystals that formed, they were able to successfully unblock him, but his kidney values kept climbing. He has been on IVs and a catheter for several days and is getting an ultrasound to rule out kidney stones. Currently his kidney values are at 4.6 and in a healthy cat they should be at 1.6.

All of these tests, medications, procedures, and hospitalization have been extremely expensive, and due to the emergency nature, there has been no ability to shop around, especially considering he needs to be on IVs and under constant care. The first hospital bill came out to $4000, this second hospital he was transferred to is $3200 + now an additional $2000 for the ultrasound and extended stay.

All donations go towards paying off these bills to make sure Shin can be healthy and continue living, he's a warm, caring cat, and is far too young to be having these issues.
