My boxing journey began in 2019, during my late 20s. I was overweight, in chronic pain, and struggling to find a productive outlet for the abundance of energy I had. Boxing was the greatest gift I could have asked for. As a fitness tool, it helped transform my body and mind.

I've spent the last 2 years dedicating myself to the craft of boxing — trying to balance work and training, and pouring every resource available into becoming a fighter worthy of competing at the national level. My discipline and passion have have helped me make great strides in my short amateur career. In my first year of competition I earned 3 state titles. This past year I was invited to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado, to be evaluatred for a spot on the High Performance Squad. I must prove myself deserving of another chance at a spot on Team USA by way of a national tournament next month. This tournament is a critical step toward achieving my ultimate goal: representing Team USA and competing in the 2028 Olympic Games. This is a chance for me to showcase my talent on the national stage and prove that perseverance and heart can open doors to greatness.

Despite several setbacks that have made my road to greatness a bumpy one, I've not wavered in my determination to prove that I have what it takes to become an international champion. I'm turning towards my community for support in my quest. I need help covering travel, lodging, and incidental expenses.
