Shiloh is our sweet, goofy dog who loves tug-of-war, hiking with his brother Max, saying hello to strangers, and bucking around like a little bronco whenever it’s meal time. He’s also the best snuggle buddy and gives kisses like it’s his full-time job. Shiloh experienced his first seizure January 1st and has had two cluster episodes that resulted in long nights at the hospital. During the month the poor guy has had to endure A full body CT scan, 2 overnights on boarding of medication, and heavy sedation from the medications. We now need an MRI to figure out what’s going on exactly. We have exhausted his insurance until May after all the imaging, hospitalizations, Specialist exams, and medications. We are reaching out for help to get the brain MRI as soon as we can.

Shiloh is 10 years old and has always been healthy, happy, and thriving. These seizures have come out of nowhere, and we’re desperate to get answers. The MRI will help us understand what’s happening, whether it’s a tumor that can be treated with radiation, encephalitis of the brain from fungus or bacteria, or possibly late onset epilepsy. The doctors aren’t sure yet, and the MRI is the next step to give us clarity and guide Shiloh’s care.
