Help Shifrin Family Cover Funeral Expenses

Hello, my name is Daria, and I am fundraising for my grandpa's, Lazar Shifrin's funeral and memorial services. He passed away suddenly on the afternoon of August 15th after being rushed to the ICU at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, leaving our family shattered and scrambling to honor his memory while also securing home care for his survived wife, my grandma.

Within Jewish tradition, it is customary for burial to take place within 24 hours. The Levaya will be taking place on August 17th. Our family was not prepared and could not even imagine planning his funeral. In doing our best to honor his wishes, we are reaching out to ask for help in our time of need. We did not foresee the financial burden this would place us on during this dark time. Our expenses include burial spots, funeral services, religious services, tombstones, etc.
