My name is Veronica, and I am asking—urgently and from the depths of my heart—for your help on behalf of a beautiful, brave family that is facing unthinkable circumstances.

They are survivors of a horrific and ongoing trauma, victims of brutal abuse where they were kidnapped and my friend was raped, beaten and almost strangle to death in front of her youngest, at the hands of someone who should have never had the power to hurt them. What they have endured is beyond words. One of the victims is a 4-year-old boy who is still recovering—physically and emotionally—from a violent incident that nearly took his life. Every day, this child and his family fight to hold onto hope, safety, and healing.

Now, they are preparing to face their abuser in court—a terrifying step, but a necessary one for justice. But with this step comes new fear. The threat is real, and the danger is far from over. This family is in immediate need of support to protect themselves and move forward with their lives.
