I started this medical Gofundme to help with my out-of-pocket expenses for a much-needed knee surgery scheduled for May 13th. The total medical cost not covered by insurance is $8,500 and the remaining $1,500 will off-set important living expenses after surgery.

As many of you know, I've lived an ambitious life as an actor/writer and Jill-of-all-trades-juggler, hiker, dancer and your basic fun-loving clown! Then a violent fall and an unsuccessful arthroscopy left my right knee "bone on bone" and my whole world changed! With doctors all agreeing that I was just "too young" for such an invasive procedure, a knee replacement was not an option for the last ten years, despite struggling with limited mobility and secondary injuries due to compensation.

After years of terrible and chronic pain, reduced mobility, depression, and living on federal disability benefits, I have finally reached the point where surgery is approved! It’s been a long and difficult road, but there is a bright silver lining.
