Please allow me to introduce myself.

I'm Sherry Strawn. I live with my daughter Caitlyn and my granddaughter Lily. (Pictured above)

I'm fully disabled since nearly passing away in 2022 due to sepsis caused by diabetic ketoacidosis.

I'm here today trying to get a little help with our bills.

My family's situation is becoming worse by the day.

Caitlyn lost her job in September. I didn't worry immediately, as we had a little cushion in the bank.

The cushion is almost gone now. I was going to sign up for SNAP last month, but I was unable to do so because of the shutdown.

She's desperately wanting to work, but so far she was only offered a job at the local movie theater for 10 hours a week. She took it, but needs a full-time position.

We just need a bit of help for food, electricity, and phone. She needs the phone to look for work.

My disability check almost covers the rent, but not quite.

Then there's Medicare premiums and prescriptions for my laundry list of health problems.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated, more than you will ever know.
