Help Sherry with her flood damage

I'm Ryan Uptegraft, my mother is Sherry Uptegraft. On the morning of July 30th a portion of our country received 4.5 to 6 inches of rain in under 45 minutes. The small branch behind her house along with another branch that it forks with just down the road has rocked our small community, Carlisle, Kentucky. It even made national news. My mother did not have flood insurance as flood water has never been in her home in 61 years, until that night and it was 3ft deep and 4 in her garage. Her insurance agent won't even return her calls and she's been with the same agent for 33 years. Many people have reached out asking me how they could get money to us or donate so, here I am. As of now we haven't received any notion for the government for assistance and looking to have to bear the cost ourselves. Many friends, family and people we don't even know have donated their time and brought food, cleaning supplies, totes, dehumidifiers, boxes and helped us gut the house for that we are forever grateful. Some woman she didn't even know gave her the socks off her feet.

If you know my mother personally then you know what a sweet, caring, selfless, kindhearted person that she is. She retired from 3M company with 30 years of service, served on the school board for 25 years, and ran a small video store for 17 years till Netflix and Redbox shut her down. She still works part time as a CNA at the Johnson-Mathers nursing home. I have watched her give and do for people all of my life. Now I'm hoping she can get a little help herself. It has completely crushed me to watch her ups and downs over the last 2 days.
