Help Sherry “Sunshine” Moses Continue Her Fight Against Stage 4 Neuroendocrine Cancer
Sherry is my mom and my son Kage’s beloved Gammy. To me, she’s always been Mom—but to so many others, she’s known as “Sunshine.” It’s the perfect nickname because she truly is a ray of light. She has an incredible sense of humor, a contagious smile, and a way of making everyone around her feel loved. She is the heart of our family—the one who fills every gathering with laughter, incredible home-cooked meals, homemade treats, and unconditional love.
Even after spending most of her life battling Lupus, she has continued to face each day with remarkable strength, positivity, and grace. Her greatest joy is her family, especially her grandson, Kage, whom she lovingly calls her strength and her reason to keep fighting each day.
Today, my mom is facing the greatest battle of her life.
Earlier this year, her world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer. After careful discussions with her medical team and family, she has chosen not to pursue chemotherapy or radiation because of her longstanding health conditions and weakened immune system. Instead, she is focusing on supportive treatments and medications that help manage her symptoms, ease her pain, and maintain the best quality of life possible.
Unfortunately, many of these treatments—including ongoing vitamin infusions, medications, and supportive cancer care—are not covered by insurance, and the out-of-pocket costs continue to grow.
I’m asking for your help to ease that financial burden so my mom can focus on what truly matters: spending precious time with the people she loves while also receiving the care that helps keep her as comfortable as possible and eases her pain and symptoms along the way. Every donation will go directly toward her ongoing treatments, medications, vitamin infusions, and other medical expenses related to her care.
No donation is too small, and every gift makes a difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page or keeping Sunshine in your thoughts and prayers means just as much to our family.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and your support during this incredibly difficult time. My family and I are forever grateful.
With gratitude,
Chad, Stacey, and Kage Moses
