Help Sherry Get Treatment

Sherry has been battling a rare auto-immune disease the last several years that has affected all aspects of her life and leaves her home in bed quite sick on most days. Without going into a lot of personal detail, it has caused her several medical conditions that make it both tricky and difficult for her to get the proper care she needs. Additionally, Sherry has been unable to work and is on medical disability and Medicare for her health coverage. As we search high and low across the country to get her help, we continue to find that Medicare does not cover the type of in-patient and residential treatment she needs to get better. Therefore, we have to raise a tremendous amount of money to get her admitted to a place where she can get well again. More than anything, Sherry would like to get back to living her life and being a productive member of society, to finish her studies at Clemson University, and start working in the medical research field. I cannot explain how difficult it is to see her suffering so much every day and unable to help her get what she really needs. I have been on the phone with many places all across the country, and it all really just comes down to one thing. Private funds - a cash-pay option with money to get her admitted to a program where she can get daily treatment. These daily treatment centers cost between $1,000 - $2,000 a day and she would need to be admitted for as long as 60 days. Sherry would be forever grateful to you if you could help.
