Hello everyone, my name is Sherry and I’m trying to raise money for my Mom. She passed away on Dec 1st, the day before my birthday. She had a stroke on top of a stroke. She had 2 stints put in her heart. She also had to have a blood transfusion, the same day as the heart procedure. She had no life insurance, and her last wishes were to be cremated. She had already purchased her urn. My Dad was in the military and when he passed away in 2011, they took care of his cremation. But, even though my Mom was his wife, they don’t cover spouse funeral expenses. I'm trying to raise money to cover her cremation and death certificate. I’m an only child and this is one of most hardest and difficult times in my life. My Mom deserves to rest peacefully. The cheapest cremation is $1500 and $38 for one death certificate. The remaining of my goal $462 will go towards my rent, because I was out of work. The place will keep my Mom resting peacefully, up to almost 2 weeks. It would be nice to be able to make that happen before then. Can you please help or donate what you can? It would be greatly appreciated and will help more than you know.
